Online store development for South African businesses
We build online stores that are simple for your customers to buy from and simple for you to run. Local payment gateways, automated order emails, real delivery options and a checkout that works properly on a phone.
Most online stores lose the sale at the checkout. Too many steps, a payment option nobody recognises, or a delivery cost that only appears at the last second. We build the checkout first and design the rest of the store around it.
Roughly three quarters of South African online shopping happens on a phone, often on mobile data. Every store we build is tested that way before it goes live, on a slow connection, with one thumb.
Mobile-first product pages and one-page checkout
Guest checkout so nobody is forced to create an account
Clear delivery cost shown before the final step
Search and filters that work on a small screen
Trust signals, stock levels and delivery times on every product
Tap-to-WhatsApp on product pages for buyers who want to ask first

Payments that South African buyers trust
We integrate the payment providers your customers already recognise, so nobody abandons the cart at the last second because they do not know the logo on the payment screen.
Money goes straight into your merchant account. We set the gateway up in your name, test every payment path including failed and cancelled payments, and hand over the login.
Card payments through the major local gateways
Instant EFT and ordinary EFT with reference matching
Payfast, Yoco, Ozow, Peach and PayPal style options depending on what suits you
Buy now pay later options where the provider supports your industry
Refunds and partial refunds handled from your admin area
Secure SSL and PCI compliant checkout as standard
03
Automated emails so no order slips through
The store does the admin for you. The moment an order is paid, your customer gets a branded confirmation with what they bought and when it ships, and you get a notification with everything you need to pack it.
Every message is written in your voice and branded to match the store, not a generic system email that lands in spam.
Instant order confirmation to the customer with an invoice attached
New order alert to you by email and WhatsApp
Shipping notification with a tracking link when you mark an order dispatched
Abandoned cart reminder to recover sales that nearly happened
Low stock warnings so you never sell what you cannot supply
Review request a few days after delivery
04
Stock, orders and delivery you control
You get an admin area where you add products, change prices, run specials, print packing slips and process orders yourself. We train you on it and stay available on WhatsApp when something is unclear.
Delivery is set up around what you can genuinely fulfil, whether that is a flat national rate, courier rates by weight and area, local delivery only, or click and collect.
Live stock counts across variants like size and colour
Courier integration and rate tables by area
Click and collect and local delivery zones
Discount codes, bundles and sale pricing
Order statuses from paid through to delivered
Sales and best seller reporting

Stores that can actually be found
An online store with no search visibility is an expensive catalogue. We structure product and category pages so each one can rank for the searches people use when they are ready to buy, and we add product structured data so prices, stock and ratings can show directly in Google.
We connect Google Analytics, Search Console and conversion tracking from day one, plus the Meta and TikTok pixels if you advertise, so you can see which products and campaigns produce revenue instead of guessing.
Product and category pages built around real buying searches
Product schema for price, availability and reviews in Google results
Google Merchant Centre feed for Shopping ads
Fast loading product images and clean URLs
Analytics, Search Console and conversion tracking
Meta, TikTok and Google ad pixels installed correctly
Frequently asked questions
What does an online store cost in South Africa?
An online store costs more than a standard business website because of the payment, delivery and stock setup involved. The final figure depends on product count and features. Send us a WhatsApp with what you sell and we will quote honestly.
Which payment methods can you set up?
Card, instant EFT and ordinary EFT through the major South African gateways such as Payfast, Yoco, Ozow and Peach, plus PayPal for international buyers. We set the account up in your name so the money reaches you directly.
Do customers get an automatic email when they order?
Yes. Paid orders trigger an instant branded confirmation with an invoice, a shipping email with tracking when you dispatch, and an alert to you so you can pack it. Nothing depends on you remembering.
Can I add and edit products myself?
Yes. Managing your own products, prices, specials and orders is standard, and we train you on it. If you would rather we handle updates, we offer that separately, but it is never a condition of the build.
Can the store handle stock levels?
Yes, including variants like size and colour. Stock counts down as orders come in, sold out items are marked automatically and you get a warning before you run out.
How does delivery work?
We set up whatever matches how you actually ship: a flat national rate, courier rates by weight and area, local delivery zones, or click and collect. Tracking links go out automatically when you mark an order dispatched.
How long does an online store take to build?
A store with a manageable product range is usually live within one to two weeks of receiving your product information and images. Large catalogues take longer, mostly because of the product data.
Can you move my existing store to a new one?
Yes. We migrate products, customers and past orders where the old platform allows it, keep your existing URLs working so you do not lose rankings, and only switch the domain once everything is tested.
Do I pay a monthly fee or commission on sales?
You pay us for hosting and support, not a percentage of your sales. The only per-sale cost is the payment gateway's own transaction fee, which goes to them, not to us.
Can the store sync with my accounting or courier software?
In most cases yes. Accounting tools, courier platforms and stock systems can usually be connected, and we confirm exactly what is possible before quoting.
